A message to Georgia’s All-Weather Patriots
In the past, we have been able to enjoy the benefits of a level of freedom that other countries could only dream about and do so without actually working for it. That was nice, but the trouble is that, while we sat back in our recliners and enjoyed what others before us had fought and died for, the forces of evil multiplied in the shadows and dark corners everywhere and got their people into places of power here and in every other developed country of the world – in our Congress, our central bank, state legislatures, as judges at every level, as district attorneys, and so on. And because we weren’t watching and paying attention, we were completely unaware of what was happening. But we can see it today, can’t we?
Certainly, there had been signs. We would elect people as conservatives, but once in office, they would vote like liberals. The Constitution, which provides the framework for the freedom that we had enjoyed, without which that freedom would vanish as quickly as a drop of water on a hot griddle, was shunted aside and ignored. Schools began to move from teaching math, science, and grammar to indoctrinating students with anti-American ideas. Colleges and universities everywhere went from citadels of free-speech to bastions of hate and intolerance. While we reached for the TV remote, our children and grand-children were turned away from our teachings of principles and virtues and taught instead that we were walking anachronisms – old-fashioned, outdated, irrelevant, and even dangerous to their own welfare and desires.
Today, we see and understand that the days of enjoying benefits that we are neither working for nor paying for are over. Society is crumbling around is, and if it is to be saved, we are actually going to have to do that. We can’t wait for others to do it, while they wait for us to do it. That didn’t work in the past – in fact, it got us into this massive mess – and it certainly won’t work today.
For four years, our president has fought for us day and night, 24-7, and has suffered physically and financially in the effort. He and his family have been constantly under threat of bodily harm. Over that time, he has accomplished much, but the forces of evil are very strong, and he cannot hope to push on to victory without our help. Where would we be today if Republicans had lost the Senate, as well, in 2018? Trump was impeached by the Democrat House; might he have been removed by a Democrat Senate? Yet we are in dire peril of losing the Senate today, and we could well find ourselves in just that predicament. You did know that, right? I hope so.
Recall the words of Thomas Paine on December 19, 1776, just one week before Washington’s fateful crossing of the Delaware…
“These are the times that try men’s souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of his country; but he that stands by it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman.”
The Bible tells us that we should recognize people not by their words but by their “fruits”, or, in other words, their actions. So it’s not our words of the past that will define us in the eyes of future historians, but our actions of today. Or lack of actions. When our children and grandchildren gaze upon the world that we left them, whether paradise or prison, how will they judge what we did or did not do that got them there?
So what can you do? Brant Frost is the Second Vice-Chairman of the Georgia GOP. He is a solid conservative and trusted leader, and According to Brant, here is what we can do, what we all must do if we are to weather this second American Crisis and save our president and the republic:
- Go go gagop.org.
- Sign up as a volunteer and be ready to work in whatever way that you can. Brant and others are knocking on doors now and many more are needed to do the same. There are even some paid positions available, so I’m told.
- Make a donation, whatever you can afford, because this fight is expensive, and the good guys do not have the cabal’s (including Soros’) billions to call upon. All they have is we – you and I – and let us pray that it is enough.
- Then SHARE this and urge others to do the same.
Our president, who has put everything on the line, risking his “life, fortune, and sacred honor” to fight for us now needs our help. If we lose the senate, even if he survives the reelection chaos, he could be removed from office, and who knows what other kinds of persecution would follow. Let us be the all-weather patriots that he needs.
